Justin Wolfers

is a Sydney-based writer, researcher and editor. His essays, criticism, fiction and poetry has been published in The Lifted Brow, The Australian, Kill Your Darlings, Fireflies, Seizure, Cordite Poetry Review, Plumwood Mountain, and the UTS Writers’ Anthology. He has appeared or presented at UNSW, UTS, WSU, National Young Writers’ Festival, Emerging Writers’ Festival, Noted Festival, and Digital Writers’ Festival. He is the Online Commentary Editor for The Lifted Brow, Book Club co-host for FBi Radio, and a PhD candidate in contemporary fiction and poetics in the Writing & Society Department at Western Sydney University.

Justin’s research focuses on the intersection of poetics and politics in 21st century writing, particularly the work of Ben Lerner, Teju Cole and Maggie Nelson.
